ABOUT DAVID
David has been working with young Singers ages 8-18 who are among the Best and the Brightest of the St. Louis and Southern Illinois areas - as well as young Singers of all ages who desire to rise to the next level of their development - for over 15 years.
Growing up in New York City, David Bennett Brandt was able to see many broadway musicals and attended French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts Camp in upstate New York for many years. He received an M.A. in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and worked as a Music Teacher in the Missouri public school system for thirteen years. David has had years of experience working around St. Louis as a Music Director, Voice Coach and Musician.
He serves as the Executive Director and Music Director at Rockshow Productions, a performing arts program for young people and is committed to encouraging young people while helping them to achieve their personal goals.
David is the author of the Adventures of Mr. Fluff book series, the humorous memoir and Sniffing Butts: A year in the life of an Elementary Music School Teacher. He is the co-host of Beatles .25, a podcast about the Beatles and has several piano tutorials of rock and broadway songs on his Youtube channel Piano Toolbox. David has three cds or original music available on Amazon.com and he is the composer-lyricist of the musical Best Night of the Week.
